Mission Statement

The Club supports the general purposes of the American Association of Woodturners (AAW). The Mission of The Club is to promote the craft of woodturning, on a lathe, in Upper East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia and Western North Carolina. The Club holds monthly meetings offering educational programs and resources, live demonstrations, safety information, and opportunities for interaction among Club members and the general public. Meetings are designed to encourage the sharing of personal experiences, design concepts, tooling and techniques, safety guidelines, and other helpful information to advance skills.
